Angel Rogers

Belmont Elementary
5th Grade
Nominated By: Principal Kim Rosenthal

Inspiration is an uplifting force and makes the world better for others. This is Angel Rogers. She thinks, leads, and serves with her heart as she finds ways every single day to celebrate others. Angel genuinely finds joy when others are happy! From grand and simple, to impactful words, to kind notes, to listening, to really seeing people, to complimenting others, to wanting what is best for others, Angel gives to others freely. Kindness is at the heart of all she does. In addition, Angel dives into and values her education as much as she honors others. She challenges herself to be better each day than the day before and she sees this as a powerful opportunity. Angel’s work is focused on quality not just completion. She understands the worth and value of education. Angel invests in her younger siblings’ education by reading with them, helping them with homework, and helping them learn study skills. Angel is the humble, behind the scenes force who elevates all around without ever wanting attention. Angel gives us faith in people, in goodness in the world, belief that life is good, and all people are worthy of celebration and love!
