This would impact students in The Bryan Medical Focus Program, the LNE STEM focus program, and the Business Program at Standing Bear and it could also support other math/science classes that students take at UNL while they are in high school.

More than 80% of public U.S. high schools offer dual credit courses that allow students to simultaneously earn high school credit and credit toward college degrees or technical certificates, according to the National Center for Education Statistics. Some of the most common dual credit course options for high school students are core general education courses that are required for most college degree programs, though students can also complete a career or technical education coursework.

LPS offers dual credit for The Bryan Medical Focus Program, the LNE STEM focus program, the Business Program at Standing Bear, and math/science classes that students take at UNL while they are in high school.
