Sandy is an incredibly caring person and teacher. She is one of the most reflective teachers I know. She is constantly thinking about how to make things better for her students. She stays late and works hard to make the best learning environment for everyone in her room. She's not afraid to make changes and try new things and she is open to new ideas and very accepting of others. She's friendly, easy to talk to, and makes every staff member feel welcome. When she interacts with students, you can tell she genuinely cares about them. She'll ask them questions about things that show interest in their lives and help them problem solve tricky situations, no matter how long it takes. She is a dedicated educator and an amazing friend.
