A Summer of Awesome
Spark Summer Learning spots fill fast - Registration for Summer 2026 will open in February.
Elementary School Camp
Week 1: May 27-29 (short week)
Bite-Sized Science
Students will discover the chemistry and physics behind the foods we eat through hands-on experiments they can taste and enjoy.
Week 2: June 1-5
A Week Among the Stars
Embark on an exciting journey where students will explore the wonders of the universe through the exciting world of STEAM. This week will invite young explorers to unlock the mysteries of space while fostering curiosity, creativity, and problem solving skills.
Week 3: June 8-12
A Journey Through Time
Students will explore history, science, and culture by “traveling” to different eras—from the age of dinosaurs to ancient civilizations, the medieval period, and even the future. Students will learn how the past shapes the present—and how today’s discoveries can inspire tomorrow
Week 4: June 15-18 (short week)
Aero Innovators
Students will step into the world of flight and aeronautics. Students will learn the science behind how things fly—exploring lift, drag, thrust, and gravity through exciting hands-on projects and experiments.
Week 5: June 22-26
Eco-Explorers
Students will investigate ecosystems, experiment with natural materials, design eco-friendly creations, and discover how science and art connect in the natural world.
Week 6: June 29-July 2 (short week)
Insect Investigators
Students will dive into the fascinating world of entomology—the study of insects. Students will explore how insects live, grow, and help our environment through hands-on investigations, games, and outdoor adventures.
Week 7: July 6-10
Secret Agent Camp
Students will train to become top-notch secret agents through hands-on STEM challenges, problem-solving missions, and teamwork adventures. Each day brings a new mystery to solve.
Week 8: July 13-17
Animation Imagination
Students will explore the magic of animation and discover how artists bring stories to life. We will experiment with different ways to make characters and objects move, learning the basic principles of animation along the way.
Week 9: July 20-24
STEM Explorers-Discover Your Future
Students will discover the wide world of STEM through the lens of real world careers. Each day, students will step into the shoes of scientists, engineers, and innovators as they explore how STEM shapes our world!
Middle School Camp
Week 1: June 1-5
Game on! Introduction to Game Design
Level up your creativity in this interactive week of game design and digital storytelling! Campers will explore how their favorite games are built, from concept and character creation to coding and testing. Using beginner-friendly design tools, students will plan, build, and play their own original games while learning about logic, animation, and user experience. Each day introduces new elements of game design, including storylines, sprites, scoring, and strategy.
Week 2: June 8-12
Evolution of Flight
Take to the skies in this hands-on technology and engineering camp! From the earliest gliders to modern drones, campers will explore how humans learned to soar. Each day focuses on a key moment in flight history — from the Wright Brothers’ first flight to the future of aerial robotics. Students will experiment with aerodynamics, test their own paper and foam glider designs, launch bottle rockets, and finish the week by flying real programmable drones.
Week 3: July 6-10
Camp CSI: Curious Science Investigators
Join the "Spark Science Squad,” tasked with understanding how real-world forensic tools work. Compare soil samples, examine mock crime scenes built from everyday objects, reconstruct timelines, and learn how good science depends on careful observation.
Week 4: July 13-17
Mission Sphero
Dive into the world of coding through hands-on exploration with Sphero robots. Throughout the week, students will learn the basics of block coding and gradually build their skills as they guide their robots through a series of creative challenges. Students will practice problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking as they experiment, test ideas, and refine their code.
