Sarah is an outstanding 4th grade teacher, instructional leader and valued member of the Kloefkorn Community. Many students and teachers have benefited from Sarah’s master teaching skills. Because of the respect others have for Sarah, she has an impact on everyone with whom she has contact. Sarah is sought out for non-judgmental advice in any situation. She is an inspiration in always being ready to help others and to take more than a fair share of the load. When one enters Sarah’s classroom, you immediately sense that the students are experiencing a unique educational opportunity. She knows the strengths and weaknesses of each student very well. She is able to engage each learner in the activity/lesson at hand. Students eagerly participate in the lessons as a safe learning environment allows them to take risks and explore. It does not matter if they are right or wrong but rather the high level of engagement allows amazing learning to happen at every moment in her classroom. Sarah is truly a deserving Inspire Award recipient!
