Ashly Diaz Sierra

Ashly has grown throughout her time at Pound into a strong leader who leads and inspires through her example. She is not afraid to push herself and try new things. She is a hard worker who takes extra effort to do things well and to improve.
Besides being involved in cross country, volleyball, among other things, Ashly has participated with other peers as a student partner in our Unified PE class, where staff have been inspired by her initiative and kindness.
In the hallways, Ashly can always be found with a smile on her face and with a friendly hello or high-five. She is patient with others and often goes out of her way to lift up others going through hard times. Ashly does the little things that make a big difference.
Ashly is an inspiration to staff at Pound and we're proud to recognize her with the 2024 Pound Student Inspire Award!
