Matt Johnson's favorite saying is, "I am not preparing students for my past, I am preparing them for their future." Matt welcomes new ideas, fosters his colleagues to explore their passions in joint projects - even when it might mean pushing Matt to learn something new. You wouldn't know in seeing him work that he has been an educator for 38 years. Matt Johnson gives himself every day to his students and his team of colleagues. He is a servant leader, a perceptive and caring individual, who would do anything for his fellow student or staff. Matt finds time to participate in district curriculum development for math, professional meetings, and community service.
