Nomination: Josh has obtained his Master of Arts in Economics and Entrepreneurship from the University of Delaware and has utilized knowledge from his degree courses to help him teach Economics, College Personal Finance and World of Business courses. He is a Nebraska Council on Economic Education Field Representative and has served as a Facilitator/Organizer for the Nebraska Council on Economic Education Business Invitational Series. He is a W!SE (personal finance) certified educator and his school/students have won a W!SE Blue Ribbon Award three times. Josh has served on a LPS curriculum revision group for the Economics in Business course and has been a leader within that group. Josh has prepared and taken groups of students to the JAStock Market Challenge and LSW students have had continued success at this annual event. He is one of the first teachers to volunteer to pilot new economic and personal finance resources with his students and always stays up-to-date with the most innovative ways to teach personal finance concepts to high school students. I highly recommend Josh Hinrichs for this award!
