About Fund a Need
Fund a Need is a unique program that connects our generous community with teachers and students in need. No one has a better understanding of what students need - resources, tools, and technology - than the classroom teacher. Fund a Need allows teachers and parent/teacher organizations to crowdfund with more exposure to fill unmet gaps in classroom resources. Examples of proposals include:
- New books for the classroom
- Field trip to the planetarium
- Musical instruments
- Fees to participate in a regional robotics competition
- And so much more
Once finalized, campaigns are posted online and shared via social media so teachers can share and donors can easily give to our schools' areas of greatest need.
