Our K-12 teachers in Lincoln are working hard every day to deliver kiddos a quality education under extremely difficult circumstances. They are going above and beyond, putting in extra effort, and balancing the needs of students in the classroom with students learning remotely. I know this is tiring and that they carry a lot on their shoulders. We are so grateful to Holly Stange and the other Sheridan Elementary educators that teach Eva and her friends, as well as the educators across the city who are supporting our children.
Here's a video with a little prayer for educators everywhere from Eva. ❤️ Thank you for being heroes during the pandemic. ❤️ We appreciate you! #ThankATeacher #LPShero #LPSstrong

A teacher I would like to recognize is my Advanced Algebra Diff teacher, Julianne Spry. I come to her class everyday during eighth period and there is never a day she doesn't have a smile on her face. She always tells cheesy jokes about math and makes class fun for everyone. She is the type of person to change your mood in seconds. She always brings up the energy in the room because of how nice and happy she is. During this time I can't imagine how stressful It is to be in the math department, considering it is very hard to teach and answer questions over zoom while trying to show and help the students in class. She always helps me after school as well, whenever I need help figuring out what we are learning she is there and makes it super clear to me.

Thank you Bauer. You are a great person to look up to and a great coach. You have taught me so well and you are still looking at me to get better. You have forgiven me when I didn't deserve it. You have just helped me get so far and now I want to give you a huge thank you for everything that you have taught me, helped me with, forgiven me for, and you have done for me. I can also say this not just on my behalf, but on behalf of the whole team.

All of the teachers that have been working their absolute hardest to bring us students a good education, thank you. Thanks for all of the effort you put in to make sure the classroom is sanitized and clean for students everyday. Thank you for all of the effort you have put into changing your entire teaching schedule to incorporate online students. Thanks for all of the things you've done in the past to create the wonderful people we see today. As a student, it's hard to see how the teacher feels because they make it seem like it's all under control, even though it is anything but that right now.
I guess what I'm saying is, thank you guys so much for working so hard to give us students a chance to learn.

Everyday I walk into school I see the teachers that help us everyday from morning to noon. I just want to say thank you as they always remind us to stay safe in school around other students. Trying their best to work out all the schools connections and services even though they've never done it. Staying up all night grading all our work. So I give my thanks to all the LSE teachers and administrators.

This is a major undertaking by Teachers and Staff teaching "in person" and "zooming students" at the same time. It is like double timing it every day plus handling devices, equipment, and occasional glitches with the internet.
