What's in a Name, Revisited: Civil Rights Trailblazers

Join local historian, Ed Zimmer, as he kicks off the 2021/2022 LPS Learning Lunch series on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. From Abraham Lincoln and women's suffrage leader, Phoebe Elliott, to Ponca chief Standing Bear, Zimmer will share the history of LPS schools that honor the names of pioneers in America's long journey toward forming “a more perfect union.”

The presentation will begin at noon, with questions and answers at 12:30 pm. Please register by clicking the red “Register Now” button above.
