About the Fund
Larry and Ruth Vaughan established this fund in 1990 in memory of their son, Victor Vaughan. Victor showed persistence in developing his talents and skills in Lincoln Public Schools. These talents and skills allowed Vic to success as a member of the 84th Army Band in Europe after his graduation from Lincoln High School in 1963.
Applying for the Grant
Application Open: September 30, 2020–November 30, 2020
Award Amount: $3,350
Criteria: Interest earned from this endowment fund is used to support teachers who need financial assistance to carry out a special project of a creative nature, or a proposal that would help many special education students. All Lincoln Public School teachers are eligible to apply for this award. Selection for the award will be facilitated by the Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools. Requests for special education projects shall receive first consideration. Award amount may vary by year.
