LHS Howard G. Cook Fund for Automotive Technology

About the Fund

The LHS Howard G. Cook Fund for Automotive Technology was established by Barbara Rino in honor of her father, a mechanic, Howard G. Cook. The award is intended to provide tuition assistance to students seeking a career in automotive technology or the automotive industry.
 

Applying for the Award

Application Open: January 4, 2021–March 22, 2021
Award Amount: $750

Criteria: In order to be eligible and apply for this scholarships you must:

  • Plan to attend the automotive career pathway program at Lincoln High
  • Plan to enroll in or take a dual-credit (SCC) Advanced Auto LPS Course(s)
  • Be in good academic standing and have good attendance
  • Show a financial need

Please Note: This form will take you approximately 5-10 minutes to submit. A signature from student applicant AND the a parent/guardian are required.  

Selection Process: The award amount will depend on the number of classes the selected student is enrolled to complete. The number of students receiving assistance will be determined each year, depending on available funds.
