Lincoln Southwest High School opened in 2001. Although Southwest has been opened a relatively short time compared to other Lincoln High Schools LSW already has an identity of its own. There are traditions and history that surround our learning community.

The Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools was established in 1989 to support the Lincoln Public Schools. In those 20 years funds have been raised for programs at Southwest that go beyond what tax dollars can support, programs that enrich students' lives.
