Student Planners

Teachers want fourth and fifth grade students to each have a student planner. The planner would be used to record assignments given in class, and students would have a written record of home assignments. Planners help students become more organized and get into the habit of writing down what needs to be done. The planners also contribute to students learning how to manage their time and prioritize assignments. The planners are also used as a communication tool between school and home. Parents know what must be done for school and can help their child be successful. Parents and teachers can also write to each other via the planner and keep in close touch if there is a problem or concern. Teachers require a parent signature on a weekly basis to show that parents have seen the planner. Planners are a perfect way to help students find success in completing school assignments.
