A New Look @ your Library

The library media center in a middle school needs to be an exciting, inviting space. The media center at Robin Mickle strives to fill this need. It is a huge room with beautiful, soft seating and oak furniture filled with plants, art objects and enticing displays. The signage in this space is an important element and our current signs are becoming weary and dated. Middle school students need clear distinct signs to mark the various book sections and library areas so they can be independent library users. Signs are an important part of our ambience and environment, creating a welcoming and efficient environment for students and teachers. This proposal calls for a “New Look @ your Library." Our center was remodeled 8 years ago and we feel like it is time for a face lift. This face lift would include 25 new signs designed by the LPS Graphics Department as well as a few new captivating posters.
