Excellence in Education
Excellence in Education funds are unrestricted and allocated by the Foundation's Awards and Grants Committee to those areas of greatest need. This program enables the Foundation to add to existing programs, to take advantage of opportunities that arise, and to provide equity across the district. The ability to respond in this manner is a distinct advantage for efficiency and innovation.

Student Opportunities
The Foundation administers multiple programs to assist with the educational needs of Lincoln Public Schools students. Financial aid in the form of scholarships and awards, emergency funds for basic needs, and support for enrichment programming beyond the scope of tax dollars help to assist in the educational support of our community�s students.

Staff Opportunities
The Foundation's Fund-A-Need program encourages teachers of all grade levels to undertake projects that add vitality and texture to the classroom. Through the Foundation, staff recognition and other awards are provided annually to recognize outstanding educators.

Family and Community Opportunities
The Foundation promotes family and community involvement in the schools through a series of grants that support the Lincoln Community Learning Centers. These grants encourage families, community organizations, and schools to work together.
